L3 ExMac Completes 4-Phase Chivas Brothers PAD Refurbishment

L3 ExMac Automation, the UK’s leading supplier of materials handling systems completed all four phases of a major contract to upgrade the the Chivas Brothers’ palletization and automatic dispatch (PAD) facility in Dumbarton. The project, for one of Scotland’s largest bottling plants with storage for more than 10,800 palletized loads, is expected to achieve a 50% increase in output.

L3 ExMac Completes Turnkey Pallet Inspection & Repair Handling System For CHEP Grangemouth

CHEP, the global leader in pallet pooling, subcontracts a number of its UK pallet conditioning facilities to partners such as Unit Pallets Ltd (UPL). Working together CHEP and UPL completed the build of a  new 1500 mfacility in Grangemouth, Scotland.

The Grangemouth plant is the first CHEP plant in Scotland operated by UPL, with capacity for processing 4.3 million pallets per year.

New Finishing Lines at JCB Cab Systems Facility

Nuvia Group

Challenge

The Nuvia group was tasked to  decommission the UKAEA site at Harwell in Oxfordshire and transform it into a world-class centrr for excellence in science and innovation. As part of the overarching project, Nuvia was contracted to design and build a nuclear waste encapsulation facility at Harwell that could transport stainless steel drums containing intermediate-level radioactive waste (ILW) through the process.
